Affectionately called the ‘father of motivation’ by his fans, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer was an internationally renowned author, speaker, and pioneer in the field of self-development.

Over the four decades of his career he wrote more than 40 books, including Manifest Your Destiny, Wisdom of the Ages, There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem and the New York Times bestsellers 10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace, The Power of Intention, Inspiration, Change Your Thoughts – Change Your Life, Excuses Begone!, Wishes Fulfilled and I Can See Clearly Now.

He also created numerous audio programs and videos and appeared on thousands of radio and television shows, including The Today Show, The Tonight Show, and Oprah.

Wayne held a doctorate degree in educational counseling from Wayne State University, and was an associate professor at St. John’s University in New York and honored a lifetime commitment to education and finding the Higher Self. In 2015 he left his body, returning to Infinite Source to embark on his next adventure.

Of course you can’t give away what you don’t have! That seems so obvious that you may be wondering why I would make it one of my ten secrets for inner peace and happiness. It’s because I’ve found that most people who don’t enjoy inner peace and success in their lives have failed to master this simple truth.

This video is a compilation of memorable stories and wisdom teachings that self-help author Wayne Dyer (1940-2015) shared in his TV specials. Included: his favorite quotes; and wisdom teachings from authors and poets he admired and followed in his own life.

We are honored and pleased to share some of the teachings of Dr. Wayne Dyer in this video.

What do you think about what he said? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

When the Student is Ready the Teacher Appears

By davidji — Some of the most profound messengers of peace, awakening, and truth have graced the planet for thousands of years; and as we have evolved and grown, we have resonated with differing voices and different messages depending on where our paths have journeyed. Celebrating the teachers, coaches, Masters, gurus, rishis, and guides who have graced the world with light and love gives us infinite wisdom to make important decisions each day.

Think of the ancient masters Patanjali, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Jesus or Adi Shankara who have touched many deeply with spiritual guidance; or modern teachers, such as Thich Naht Hanh, Eknath Easwaren, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, or Joel Osteen, whose voices resonate with your vision of life. The blissful teachings of Yogananda, the compassion of the Buddha, the awakening of Christ consciousness, the transcendence of Yogi Bhajan and so many others all flow through our awareness when we carve out our spiritual time.

But we need to go deeper. We need to see the teachers around us in every moment.

Every difficult conversation we have includes someone who is teaching you something about yourself. Every trying situation contains an opportunity for deeper self-reflection and learning. Every irritant, heartbreak, frustration, disappointment, fearful moment and sadness is a teacher.

The author Carlos Castaneda stressed this when his archetypal character Don Juan said, “A warrior who stumbles on a petty tyrant is a lucky one.”

My own experiences have taught me that the guru rests inside.

The answer to every question we could ever ask sits lovingly in the silence of our heart waiting for the right moment to emerge. We need to understand how to tease it out … how to allow spontaneous right thought, speech, and action to flow from us with grace and ease at the perfect moment. And that starts with allowing the stillness of the universe to become your stillness.

By quieting down, powering down — for only five to thirty minutes a few times a day — we create the space and the opportunity for the teacher to “arrive” with each constriction, overwhelm or less-than moment. Coming from a place of stillness and silence, we are wiser, less reactive, less conditioned, more creative and more intuitive, so we are more likely to respond to life rather than have a knee-jerk reaction to it.

So today, let’s celebrate the teachers and the teachings that have helped to make us who we are. Let’s honor every teacher who has helped us mold the personal Play-Doh of our life. Let’s pay tribute to our parents and the caregivers who brought us into this world; our teachers in kindergarten straight through graduate school. Our coaches, doctors, clergy, bosses, and all the authority figures that have pointed us in a particular direction. Our schoolmates, work colleagues, loved ones and the members of our support groups. And of course, those with whom we have a grievance, the petty tyrants, the nagging experts, the oil-and-water relationships that challenge us to be better versions of ourselves.

The key to mastering the ancient wisdom teachings is making an internal shift that transforms your intellectual knowledge into inner wisdom. And that comes from seeing the teacher in every moment … in every breath … in every conversation … in every interaction … and in every self-reflective moment.

It is this acknowledgment merged with a daily practice of stillness and silence that will awaken your inner student, your inner teacher, and your inner healer.

Manly P. Hall

By MITCH HOROWITZ

The late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries saw an explosion of spiritual teachers and impresarios dealing in “secret wisdom.” Their ranks included hacks and frauds – as well as more than a few genuine scholars of esoteric traditions. Most have vanished from memory, their writings a historical footnote.

There exists one distinct figure, though, whose movement and teachings not only survived his passing but are even experiencing a revival in our day. His name is Manly P. Hall. While few academicians will ever know of him, Hall was among the twentieth century’s – and perhaps any century’s – most commanding and unusual scholars of esoteric and mythological lore. Yet the source of his knowledge and the extent of his virtuosity can justly be called a mystery.

While working as a clerk at a Wall Street banking firm – the “outstanding event” of which involved “witnessing a man depressed over investment losses take his life” – the 28-year-old Hall self-published one of the most complex and thoroughgoing works ever to catalogue the esoteric wisdom of antiquity, The Secret Teachings of All Ages. Hall’s Secret Teachings is almost impossible to classify. Written and compiled on an Alexandrian scale, its hundreds of entries shine a rare light on some of the most fascinating and little-understood aspects of myth, religion, and philosophy.

Today, more than seventy-five years after its initial publication, the book’s range of material astonishes: Pythagorean mathematics; alchemical formulae; Hermetic doctrine; the workings of Kabala; the geometry of Ancient Egypt; the Native American myths; the uses of cryptograms; an analysis of the Tarot; the symbols of Rosicrucianism; the esotericism of the Shakespearean dramas – these are just a few of Hall’s topics. Yet his background betrays little clue to his virtuosity.

A Man Unknown

Hall was born in Peterborough, Ontario, in 1901 to parents who would shortly divorce, leaving the young Manly in the care of a grandmother who raised him in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He had little formal schooling. But there was a spark of some indefinable brilliance in the young man, which his grandmother tried to nurture in trips to museums in Chicago and New York.

Tragedy struck early, when his grandmother died when he was 16. Afterward, a self-styled Rosicrucian community in California took him in. At age 19, suspicious of the community’s claims to ancient wisdom, Manly moved on his own to Los Angeles where he began a precocious career in public speaking – first giving an address on reincarnation in a small room above a bank in Santa Monica, and soon rising to the rank of minister at a liberal evangelical congregation called The Church of the People.

Word spread of the boy wonder’s mastery of arcane and metaphysical subject matter. He attracted benefactors and eventually began travelling the world in search of hidden wisdom. Yet Hall’s early letters from Japan, Egypt, China, and India are, in many respects, fairly ordinary: They contain little of the eye-opening detail or wonder of discovery that one finds in the writings of other early twentieth-century seekers encountering the East for the first time. More often they read like prosaic, if somewhat sensitive, linear travelogues of their day.

Like a bolt from the blue, however, one is astounded to discover a short work of immense power from the young Hall – a book that seems to prefigure that which would come. In 1922, at the age of 21, Hall wrote a luminescent gem on the mystery schools of antiquity, Initiates of the Flame. Though brief, one sees in it the outline of what would become The Secret Teachings of All Ages. On its frontispiece, Initiates of the Flame boldly announces: “He who lives the Life shall know the Doctrine.”

The short book goes on to expound passionately and in detail on Egyptian rites, Arthurian myths, and the secrets of alchemy, among other subjects. Feeling the power and ease in its pages, the reader can almost sense the seeds of greatness that were beginning to take hold in Hall’s grasp of esoteric subjects.

The Secret Teachings Born

Hall soon returned to America, where he tried his hand at banking – though he found his true path in the beaux arts Reading Room of the New York Public Library. Entering this cavernous space today, it is not difficult to picture the large-framed, young Manly P. Hall surrounded by books of myth and symbol at one of the room’s huge oaken tables. Like a monk of the Middle Ages, Hall copiously, almost superhumanly, pored over hundreds of the great works of antiquity, distilling their esoteric lore into his volume.

By the age of 28, having pre-sold subscriptions for nearly 1,000 copies (and printing 1,200 more), Hall published what would become known as “The Great Book” – and it has never gone out of print since.

Indeed, Hall is an exception to most of his contemporaries as someone whose work is actually building in influence today. In its day, the Secret Teachings was expensive, hefty, and cumbersome. As a result, the book spent much of its existence as an underground classic. In late 2003, however, the Secret Teachings found new life in a reset and redesigned “reader’s edition,” which has sold a remarkable 40,000 copies in less than three years.(For further details, see “Bringing the Secret Teachings Into the 21st Century” by Mitch Horowitz at www.lapismagazine.org). A little-known 1929 companion volume by Hall, called Lectures on Ancient Philosophy, has also been recently reissued.

After publishing his magnum opus, Hall opened a campus in 1934 in the Griffith Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles called The Philosophical Research Society (PRS), where he spent the rest of his life teaching, writing, and amassing a remarkable library of esoterica. A self-contained property designed in a pastiche of Mayan, Egyptian, and art deco styles, PRS remains a popular destination for LA’s spiritually curious.

Following Hall’s death in 1990, PRS barely survived simultaneous legal battles – one with Hall’s widow, who claimed the group owed her money, and another with a bizarre father-son team of con artists who, in the estimation of a civil court judge, had befriended an ailing, octogenarian Hall to pilfer his assets. The Los Angeles Police Department considered Hall’s death sufficiently suspicious to keep it under investigation for several years.

Secret Wisdom, Practical Wisdom

For all his literary output, Hall revealed little about his private life. His most lasting record is a frequently trite, unrevealing childhood memoir called Growing Up with Grandmother (in which he refers to his guardian as “Mrs. Arthur Whitney Palmer”). As an adult, Hall’s close relations were few. He did not marry until well into middle age, in a union some surmise was never consummated.

Hence, when Hall disclosed something about his background, it was purposeful. He wrote this in a PRS newsletter in 1959: “As a result of a confused and insecure childhood, it was necessary for me to formulate a personal philosophy with which to handle immediate situations.”

Here was someone with a tremendous interest in the arcane philosophies of the world, in the occult and metaphysical philosophies, but he wasn’t fixated on immortality, or a will to power, or on discovering keys that unlock the universe. Rather, he was focused on harnessing inner truths in a very practical way. How, he wondered, could such ideas lend clarity to daily life?

We’ll take a byroad that steers us in another direction before returning to this point. Our byroad involves one of the most famous novels in history, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The work has many facets, among them a portrait – not sympathetic, but not as unsympathetic as one might suppose – of the European occult in the Enlightenment era. The portrait comes in the character of a young Victor von Frankenstein, a budding scientist torn between the occult teachings that drew him to science as a child and the prevailing rationalism of his teachers. Victor confides his interest in the great alchemists and occult philosophers, such as the Renaissance-era magus Cornelius Agrippa, but his professors dismiss him with complete condescension.

One day in his room, Victor ponders the unbridgeable gap between his magical visions and the scholasticism of his peers:

I had a contempt for the uses of modern natural philosophy. It was very different when the masters of science sought immortality and power; such views, although futile, were grand; but now the scene was changed. The ambition of the inquirer seemed to limit itself to the annihilation of those visions on which my interest in science was chiefly founded. I was required to exchange chimeras of boundless grandeur for realities of little worth.

In a sense, Victor spoke for generations of occultists when describing his ideal of boundless grandeur, immortality, power, and visions. (And who wouldn’t sympathise with the rebellious young Victor – whose dreams and ambitions, while hopeless, exist on a grand scale – versus the certainties of his crusty professors?)

An occult scholar born at the cusp of the twentieth century, Manly P. Hall signalled a different kind of ideal. Hall told of “a personal philosophy with which to handle immediate situations.” After Hall’s death, a reporter in the Los Angeles Times noted, “Followers say he believed in reincarnation and in a mixture of the Golden Rule and living in moderation.”

For Hall, the very act of writing The Secret Teachings of All Ages was an attempt at formulating an ethical response to the age he lived in. While the book is at times speculative and some of its sources are limited by the constraints of their era, it is the only codex to esoteric ideas that treats its subject with total seriousness. Contemporaneous works, such as The Golden Bough, regarded indigenous religious traditions as superstition – interesting museum pieces worthy of anthropological study but of no direct relevance to our current lives. Hall, on the other hand, felt himself on a mission to re-establish a connection to the mystery traditions at a time when America, as he saw it, had given itself over to the Jazz-Age materialism he witnessed at his banking job.

“After I thought the matter over,” he wrote a few years before his death, “it seemed necessary to establish some kind of firm ground upon which personal idealism could mingle its hopes and aspirations with the wisdom of the ages.”

In this sense, the prodigious scholar achieved more than a cataloguing of esoteric truths. He turned the study of occult ideas into an ethical cause.

By Steven Peters — It’s enough that we live in a chaotic country with stress levels skyrocketing from a job we don’t like, driving in traffic, arguments with our friends or loved ones, and being bombarded with environmental pollutants which place a heavy burden not only on our bodies but on our mind in ways that impact our natural joyful state.

Stress, of course, is also a natural factor in our lives, but when we’re stressed out too much for a long period of time, our body and mind begin to show physical and mental signs of stress like getting sick, depression, anxiety and a host of unwanted negative factors that play a key role in how we feel emotionally and physically.

Our brains have evolved powerful tools for coping with threats and danger—but in the face of modern stresses like information overload, money worries, interpersonal conflicts, and other stress we are compounded with on a daily basis, our survival reflexes can do more harm than good.

Making the positive mindful shift

When you begin the realization that almost anything in your life can be overcome by transitioning the way you think and feel (your emotional state of mind) about a particular situation, it can quite literally transform your life.

You can change your life, your state of happiness, stress levels, and feelings of being unsuccessful by simply making a positive mindful shift. But making a habit/routine of it is predicated on how much you value wanting to make those positive mindful shifts to create what you desire.

For example, you woke up, and you then thought about getting out of bed after a nights sleep and did it; you thought about going to the bathroom, and did it; you thought about brushing your teeth, and did it; you thought about making breakfast, and did it; you thought about going to work or school, or somewhere, and did it; you thought about buying flowers or going to the bank, or whatever it may be, and you did it. That is because the intention of your thought is exactly the catalyst that begins to put your thoughts into action and, if your intention behind that thought is agreeable to what you want to achieve, then you take action and do it.

Your thoughts, behaviors, and actions create specific effects that create your life as you know it. That is the Law of Cause and Effect.

Consciousness, or your conscious thoughts, is the ‘state of being awake and aware of one’s surroundings and the awareness or perception of something’. Our consciousness, is energy on a quantum, subatomic level which is simply contained in our bodies, and is not physically a part of them.

Given that consciousness is being awake and aware, you have the innate ability to be aware, or for some they may not be aware of how thought creates ‘things’ in our lives, depending on their circumstance, and by that awareness which is a thought process within our minds, shapes the very course of your life! You literally have everything in your life because of what you thought about. Your job, your friends, your clothes, your eating habits, your significant other, etc., all because of the intention that your agreeable thought was then put in motion.

And if you have something in your life that you don’t like, want or need in your life that isn’t serving your highest good, that too, is something you that manifested just by allowing that simple thought to create it in your life, either on a conscious or unconscious level.

When you change how you feel, how you think, how you react, and your behavior, that’s the very moment when you begin to live the life of your dreams; the state of mind that brings everything you’ve ever wanted in your life.

It seems simple enough though — changing the way you think and feel about a certain situation, right? It can be incredibly difficult though, but not difficult if you learn the techniques that are required to achieve your desires, which I’m going to discuss below.

Ancient civilizations have been doing these techniques for thousands of years, and I’m going to share one of those powerful techniques with you. The routine of it will make it easy to do, but only if you are willing to learn the easy steps by investing mere seconds each day, you can find success, have less stress, and be happier in life.

Think it, Feel it, Say it, Do it

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve,” Napoleon Hill once said. “The mind is everything. What you think, you become,” Buddha taught.

We are creatures of habit. We tend to follow the picture in our minds learned from our parents, our friends, our community, the church, and the part of the world from which we were born and/or grew up in. But if what we learned, especially in our formative years growing up, those thoughts and behaviors that we felt kept us safe, but later in life has manifested into something that doesn’t serve your highest good, those thought processes and behavior that we create in our mind from everything we learned from our past, we can begin to realize how they adversely impact our lives if we are open to receive new positive information that we can then put towards a life we truly want, need and deserve.

We each have a mind of our own and are capable of imagining a life the way we want it to be. We can say yes or no to the millions of choices we encounter every single day. The most successful people in life believe they have the power to make changes in their lives. They aren’t afraid to try new things or to fail. In fact, failures are just ways in which we learn so the next time we try to do something, it will eventually succeed. In actuality, failure is just a stepping stone to success. So, embrace failure as a positive attribute in life.

Start imagining your life the way you want it. Create a picture in your mind and think about that picture throughout the day. Believe in that very moment when you’re thinking about the life you want, that it’s real and is happening now, and take in that feeling, bringing it into your heart and sit with it for some time; a few seconds, a minute, ten minutes — whatever time it takes. That thought, if you focus on it daily, will turn into an intention, which will then turn into action governed by the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction, which is the name for “like attracts like” has been used for centuries, and is used by focusing on positive thoughts that bring positive experiences to one’s life. And the Law of Attraction is governed by the 12 Universal Laws, which affect you, right now, at this very moment you’re reading this.

  • Law of Attraction – This law Demonstrates how we create or manifest things, events and people that come into our lives. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which in turn attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies.

It’s a funny thing that happens, though, when we take the moments to quiet your surroundings and quiet your mind to think about something you desire and ask for it; when it does appear, it usually does so not in the way we first thought or expect that it would. The reason for that is because the complexity of our world and the 12 Universal Laws that govern all that is in existence, and what we ask for and ultimately manifest in our lives, take a multifaceted journey to get to you. With all the complexities that exist, we cannot begin to fathom how that energy’s journey will end up in our lives; but rest assured, it will, when you’re open to it.

Our brains are electrical powerhouses, and the energy that it creates is so powerful that it can create every one of the senses within us. By knowing that there are Universal Laws always in play and that those laws govern everything on this planet, so too do those laws affect our lives.

Think of the Universe as the womb of all creation; that same powerful energy of creation that created everything within the Universe, whether a star, a planet, animal, tree, flower, aquatic creature, down to the most microscopic organisms on the planet, resides within you because we are a part of creation. And, those creations all have an energy and frequencies to them, as I will explain below.

Earth has a frequency and energy, as does everything in the Universe, and since energy and the frequencies that reside within us, that energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it transforms from one form to another; it is a continuum of the Divine creation that you, I, and everyone can freely tap into.

For example, The Schumann Frequency is the ‘sound’ of Earth that can actually be heard by specific audio-capturing devices. It’s like hearing the sound of a big drum, with that drum being the Earth’s resonant cavity. The Earth’s frequency is always changing by slight degrees, but its usual steady frequency vibrates at 7.8 Hertz. Not only every living organism on the planet has a frequency and energy within it, every single star, asteroid, black hole, galaxy, and everything else in the Universe does as well.

And because we are a part of Earth (we breathe its air, drink its water, eat its food, use its flowers as medicine, etc.), and the particles in stars, which science has just in the last few decades discovered, are the very same particles that are found inside of us, meaning that parts of the Universe are within us. How incredible is that?!

In the early 1980s, astronomer Carl Sagan hosted and narrated a 13-part television series called “Cosmos” that aired on PBS. On the show, Sagan thoroughly explained many science-related topics, including Earth’s history, evolution, the origin of life and the solar system.

“We are a way for the universe to know itself. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return. And we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We’re made of star stuff,” Sagan famously stated in one episode.

His statement sums up the fact that the carbon, nitrogen and oxygen atoms in our bodies, as well as atoms of all other heavy elements, were created in previous generations of stars over 4.5 billion years ago. Because of humans and every other animal, as well as most of the matter on Earth, contain these elements, we are literally made of star stuff, as Carl Sagan, notable cosmologist, astrophysicist, and astrobiologist stated.

Tapping into infinite energy

The energy that Earth has within in it to spin on its axis is so great, that billions of years after its creation, millions of asteroids hitting our planet wasn’t strong enough to stop its rotation. The energy that our planet produces is what keeps us not only from floating up into the sky, but is one incredible way in which it sustains our lives.

Just like the radio waves that we don’t see that is being transmitted through the air; the infrared frequency that we don’t see with our eyes, so too are the energies or ‘frequencies’ which are being transmitted to and from everything on this planet. Those frequencies that are all around us, can be tuned into one another based on the transference of a key model of life that brings a pattern of wavelengths that flows in and out of each of us, even though we cannot see it, it is within and all around us constantly. It’s actually flowing through you right now, but you’re so used to the frequency and energy, that it’s like the blood in your veins and you don’t feel that it’s flowing within you.

If you think about it this way: you know when you meet someone and you instantly like them? “They have good energy.” Or, you meet someone and there’s just something about them that doesn’t feel quite right? Well, it’s their energy that isn’t in tune with yours. It’s like a piano; if you play one note, then another, and if the tone is harmonic, it sounds and feels good to you. If you play another note just a half step up and play them together, they sound dissonant and it doesn’t sound or feel right.

Sound, energy, and a vibration have a frequency that can be measured. You’ve heard the phrase, “the speed of sound”. Just like our brain waves can be measured by an Electroencephalograph (EEG) machine, so too can these frequencies, energies, and vibrations, which all three are a part of the same source, is a part of the Universal Laws that are all around you, including everything else on this planet.

Science has definitively proven these frequencies, energies, and vibrations to not only provable but that our brain waves, which come from our conscious and unconscious thoughts, those frequencies, energies and vibrations can affect our mental state and physical well being.

Just like a table that may look solid and still, within the table are millions upon millions of subatomic particles “running around” and “popping” with energy, so too are those subatomic particles doing the very same thing. The table, our bodies and, from the most minute thing that is visible and not visible to us, is pure energy and movement. Everything in this universe has its own vibrational frequency. It is The Law of Vibration in action.

When we think about something, those thoughts are energy that is produced by the electrical synapses and neurons in our brain. The actions we take, meaning actually doing something physically, that behavior can only be manifested by the energy of the thoughts we previously thought of and the intention behind it. If we can begin to tap into the positive energies that is not only within us, but all around us, and from the Universe, we can begin to not just imagine, but we can realize just how powerful we are, just by using the energy of thought which can manifest what you want or need in your life.

‘Letting go’ is awakening your true potential

We all like to think we are in control of our lives. The things we do, feel and act upon. Yes, we can control those aspects of our lives, but only by thought are you able to control those aspects. What you do, can take a very different course because you cannot predict what inadvertent thing is going to happen next that is out of your control. What you feel, can be greatly impacted by an outside/external circumstance that put you in a state of mind that can change how you feel. What you act upon can also change significantly because of external infinite possibilities. Even your bodily function is not of your own control. Your body has its own control mechanisms that are multifaceted and working synergistically within you keeping you alive. In actuality, you are not in control of anything but two things — your thoughts and breathing.

Everything you believe you are in control of that is outside the scope of those two things, toss it out the window and begin to surrender and free yourself of control. When you do that, a whole new thought process comes to mind and you begin to understand what you do and don’t have control of, which can place you in a state of freedom and a new understanding of what role you play in your life and people and the world around you. You begin to look at everything with new eyes; you see the world as something more giving, and you can then focus on what you do have control of, and that is what can put you on a path of rediscovery.

When our intentions are focused on something for a consistent basis, our thoughts can be turned into exactly what is desired. If you think negatively about something, the Laws of Attraction dictate that the very thought you just thought about will manifest in a feeling or a behavior. If you focus on negative doom and gloom, you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts, and have goals that you aim to achieve, the Universe will bring you opportunities to achieve them with massive action plans that you didn’t otherwise think of. But you must be open to it. Release any judgment you may have, and begin to tap into the infinite abundance that the energy of the Universe is ready to give you.

So instead of thinking what you don’t want, think, feel and believe what you do want in a positive affirmation.

Here’s a general affirmation you may use if you like:

I live each day to the fullest and most highest good, and welcome the gifts from the Universe and its miraculous loving manifestations and opportunities to come and flow through me.

Remember, what you put out into the world, comes back to you. So put out as much positive energy (positive thinking and positive feelings for yourself, others and the planet) and you can not only by thought, but by actions, can begin to see your life start to change for the better. And because you’re directing your positive thoughts not only for yourself, but for others and for the planet (yes, the planet is very much in need of not only positive energy from us, but action steps to ensure that we don’t further harm it), that energy of heartfelt positive feeling within you spreads through you and throughout the world.

Doesn’t it feel great to do something good for someone else? It gives them the opportunity to receive something good from you, and in return, you feel good by creating that positivity in another person’s life. You may not get what you desire in the way you expect to receive it, whether it’s a new job, a better relationship, more money, better health, to move to a new city, etc., but when you think it, and truly feel it in your heart and believe in that moment that you have it, not that you will have it, but you have it now, it will absolutely manifest in your life.

You may encounter obstacles, but don’t let these obstacles deter you. If you hold your picture of the life you want in your mind and truly feel it, almost with a loving desperation, you will eventually create that life, because the Universe and its energy is endlessly abundant; it created everything that is, including you, so by tapping into its frequencies with thoughts which you have total control of, with the intention of welcoming and asking the Universe to help bring to you what you want or need, you will find that your requests will come to fruition and you can have anything your heart desires.

How do you ask the Universe for what you want?

To start using the Laws of Attraction for your greater good, like anything good worth having in life, you simply make time for it. Make it a routine just like brushing your teeth, or eating; it’s that important that you apply the Laws of Attraction daily if you want to achieve certain goals, and each time you focus your thoughts in a positive way to better your life, the easier it becomes to fit ‘mindful manifestation’ if you will, into your life, just like any routine.

It’s up to you now, to take advantage of the infinite opportunities that the Universe has in store for you. By sitting quietly and taking just a few moments at first, then as you progress, a couple minutes, to close your eyes, and push away any negative thought and make room for positive, loving thoughts and desires that you want in your life, and you will soon begin to start making different choices in line with the picture of your desires that you created in your mind. Do this every day until it becomes routine. I’m only suggesting a couple of minutes a day; that’s all it takes. At the end of your request(s), you can say to affirm your intent, Amen, so be it, Namaste or even a simple thank you.

Below is a wonderful master teacher, who has learned from the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra and other master teachers, where he, Davidji, can show you how to transform your life through guided meditation. And you should know that quieting the mind to receive, is what meditation is, then you are able to be in a state of mind of receiving. You can’t receive anything if your mind is bombarded with all kinds of thoughts popping into your mind at a mind-numbing pace. This is why people have been meditating for thousands of years. Yes, there really is something to it for them to be doing for millennia — they, and you too, are tapping into something that is greater than what you can perceive, though when you continually practice it, you then begin to understand how it affects you in every aspect of your life.

Davidji is someone I look to when I need that extra helping hand to get totally relaxed and in a calm state of mind. Please feel free to use Davidji‘s ‘The 5 Realms of Transformation‘ below to put you on a path towards discovering what the Universe can bring you. It’s a simple way to relax your mind so you can begin to receive all the wonders that the Universe has in store for you.

“Looking at ourselves through the lens of the five realms will help us gain clarity on our needs, our desires, on what we’re holding onto that no longer serves us, and what we can bring into our lives that will nourish and affirm us.”Davidji

Once you have come to understand the astounding possibilities that the Universe has to offer, you can also come to realize that you are like an artist, painting pictures of your intended life and then making choices and taking actions that will realize what you envisioned.

So what if you don’t like the picture? Change it!

Your life is a blank canvas of possibilities; you are in control of what the finished picture will look like.

The Law of Attraction really is that simple – no catches. All laws of the Universe are completely perfect and the Law of Attraction is no exception. No matter what you are looking to have or achieve in life, if you can see and feel it deeply for yourself passionately in your mind by lovingly thinking and feeling it within your heart, and then asking for it, you can absolutely have anything in your life.

Below is The Tut Oath, which is a powerful affirmation that can bring things/thoughts/people/relationships into reality. Remember, thoughts become things, so Think it, Feel it, Say it, Do it.

I wish you all the blessings that life and the Universe have to offer you and hope you can begin to realize just how much power you have within you, quite literally, you have the infinite Universe at your disposal to manifest exactly what you need and want in your life that can absolutely serve your greatest good in life.

Beyond A Happy New Year - The Discovery of A New YOU!

By Steven Peters – I wanted to share some valuable information with you that I got from HayHouseRadio.com. If you haven’t heard of the website, no worries, I didn’t hear of them up until just recently.

I’ve found so many insightful and useful messages from the people who share their vast years of knowledge about so many different things, but mostly, what I personally found on the website is that it opened up channels to me that is helping me understand and learn the gifts of life, the universe, the divinity, peace, and meditation techniques, and so much more that I’m still discovering.

These techniques are something that I’ve found which are so easy to do (most are audio) and actually are (so gratefully) working for me, as well as love (on many different levels) and so much more.

I’ve learned along my journey of life that the more I learn, the more I realize how much I have yet to learn and want to learn; I believe we never stop learning. What a gift that truly is for me, and for us all, to find and share the opportunities we discover!

You may already know some of the simple techniques, which by the way, have been used for thousands of year, and for me, through these wise, well traveled and insightful people, have given me a chance to rediscover certain messages, and understanding that I may not have previously understood, so I can apply those positive things I’ve learned thus far in my own life to enhance who I am as a person on every level.

HayHouse.com is just one channel of inspiration; there are obviously many channels of inspiration all around us. And for me, it’s been a blessing to receive the messages from them; and so, as someone who always wants to help and pass on good and positive useful things to other people (my hope is that you do find it useful), especially those I only want the best for like my family and friends, and my subscribers to this website, all of HayHouse’s insightful and profound resources is my Happy New Year message and gift to you should you like to discover all that awaits.

I’ve found david Ji, the first person I ever heard on the site; he has a very calm and soft-spoken but clear voice as to how to realize our full potential. And he talks about it in language I can understand, and that touched upon many things that I am going through in my own life. You may find him, or the many other speakers/teachers/authors that want to share and pass on what they’ve learned throughout their journey of life. They all have varied degrees and or accomplishments in their life that now they are featured on this very popular website.

Doreen Virtue is another person, which I won’t go into detail about, though when you have the opportunity that may come your way to discover her, she has touched my life in so many ways. What a messenger and blessing she is!

I hope you enjoy the site as much as I have. And if you like the site and find it useful, feel free to check it out first for as long as you want or need to, and if you feel it might benefit you, sign up for free. They have a lot of FREE resources! I haven’t bought anything from, at this point, I’m just using all the resources that are free to use.

This is David Ji’s radio channel. www.hayhouseradio.com/#!/host/davidji ; have a listen, it’s free; if you like it, great, if not, that’s Ok too. Peruse the website and find what speaks to you. www.hayhouseradio.com.

You can also visit www.hayhouse.com/ for books and other resources (I think some of them are for purchase, though not all). I’m doing just the free things right now!

Blessing to you, with all the good and positive things that life may bring and teach you this exciting new year,
