The US Food Supply Under Attack Under Pretense of Saving the World

An imminent threat to the stability of a nation is underway from sea to shining sea in the US and across its borders in almost every other nation on the planet. A global cartel of chemical companies waging war on every single person in the world who eat food.

The biggest threat is that of Monsanto and the plethora of poisonous creations that inundate almost every commercial grocery store self with GMOs (genetically mutated organisms). The bully from Saint Louis has declared a war against organic food, farmers and anyone who seeks to eat nutritious food and food not perversely manipulated through gene modification.

In fact, the attack is so grave, that standing non-GMO revolutionary armies around the globe stood ground to battle the behemoth Monsanto by marching against them this past weekend to send a clear message that “we don’t want your GMOs”.

What Monsanto, Syngenta and others are in fact doing is holding seeds and the entire food supply hostage through a monopoly of control. This is nothing short of bio-terrorism.

They have stated quite the contrary — that their genetically mutated crops will increase yields (they’ve lowered yields); pesticide and herbicides use will decrease (they’ve increased exponentially), and that their GM foods will feed the world (we have more than enough good food to feed the world — its access that is the problem). So none of the claims in actuality are true. By any measure of common sense, their propaganda has paid off.

We must look at what they are doing as a war and the fight for food and seed freedom – a cherished heritage that has been passed down through generations spanning over ten thousand years. This is a battle cry that echoes deep into our consciousness seeking to stamp out injustices — injustices that wreak havoc on the health of our planet and our very lives.

The hundreds of thousands who marched against Monsanto have bravely voiced their message and helped spread awareness to those who may not know that Monsanto was voted the most evil corporation in the world – and for good reason. Their perverse creations span much broader than just GMOs. Agent Orange, PCB’s, Aspartame, rBGH and their fraudulent criminal conduct throughout their sordid history, to name just a few.

Marching against something that threatens the very existence of our species around the globe is a noble and indeed worthwhile undertaking. But we must ask ourselves: is this enough?

The core message is to spread the message in a non-violent way to bring education and awareness, just like it was done in over 60 countries around the globe who have either labelled or outright banned GMOs altogether. Their governments listened to those battle cries of injustice and made a singular choice for the health of their citizens.

But is the US listening? Are they watching? Do they care?

So far, GMOs in the US are not required to be labelled, much less are they banned. In an estimation by scientists who oppose genetic crops suggest that a ban is necessary so that ecosystems won’t be threatened by contamination from GM crops through cross-pollination. Of course, there’s no way to control the wind, and because of this, much of the organic farms that grow foods near commercial farms are contaminated by GMOs. There’s no getting around this fact.

But this fact is in Monsanto’s arsenal bag of tricks. They know that their seeds and pollen with spread beyond farms and GMO crops will be the majority of food grown on the planet. It won’t just be in the foods that are high risk of GMOs, but GMOs will soon be a part of all foods if allowed to continue to be grown.

In a war, even in peacetime, there are certain principles of that are dealt with the tactics of combat. The use of non-violence has been the key driving factor to overcome many movements in the past, with civil disobedience being merely one of the principles. Strategic defensive need not be passive in nature, and often involves propaganda and psychological warfare, as well as pre-emptive strategies.

A Strategic Defense, politically speaking, is a defensive war which is waged for our independence that is sought. Strategic defensive is a predominant peace-time posture in the world at any one time. This type of defense puts us in the crosshairs of our opponents. This has been seen by Monsanto and other chemicals companies putting up a website to counter any negative feedback about GMOs and, “to set the record straight.”

These are strategies that may win the battle, and there is no doubt that Monsanto is on the offensive.

But the question is: who will win the war?
