
Corporate media-owned outlets have a vested interest in the status quo. Shutting down the war machine is bad for news. Peace is dangerous to the bottom line. The question is, will people in America do something if they are denied the candidate they demand? Or will they simply swallow the poison and accept the candidate they are told to vote for?
The establishment political machine, both Democratic and Republican parties with the help of the establishment so called “Liberal Media” and “corporate media” do not want change. To them, their trickle down economic policies are working just fine. Endless wars, banking fraud, stock market bubbles, housing bubbles, fossil fuels destroying the planet, unregulated medical and pharmaceutical industries, corporations that are too big to fail or be prosecuted — it’s all going well, why change anything?
Corporate media makes billions of dollars off the little scam they got going; fleecing their customers through consumer protections being dropped, by stealing from the US taxpayers by the billions in subsidies, taxpayer bailouts, tax breaks or no bid contracts. On top of that, they are stealing what’s left of the middle class by manipulating the markets in their favor.
The corporate minions fall in line
These corporate media contributions by media own corporations to the DNC play favor to which political candidates are chosen, or seen (or not seen) on wide scale media platforms like the news, newspapers, Television and other offline sources.
When we look at the top contributors to the DNC, we see that in the 2001–2005 election cycle, the DNC and its affiliated committees raised a total of US $162,062,084. The largest contributor, with US $9,280,000 was the Saban Capital Group, is a private investment firm based in Los Angeles, California focused on media, entertainment, and communications investments. They also founded Fox Family group. Fred Eychaner, the owner of Newsweb Corporation, gave the second highest amount of money to the DNC and its affiliates, US $7,390,000. The third largest contributor was Steve Bing of Shangri-La Entertainment, who gave US $6,700,000.
Corporate money controls the political landscape, and the DNC is a big part of the problem when it comes to fair political oversight. They have done much to undermine the campaign of Bernie Sanders with the limited debates and odd scheduled evenings on Saturday nights near the holiday. Hillary’s data that was breached made it appear as if it was a glitch. But their data was sent on two occasions by the DNC to Sanders campaign, this time just before the debate in order to give the impression that Sanders is not “trustworthy”.
Despite what anyone may claim, it was the DNC’s direct responsibility to ensure that “glitches” and the rules are followed. The fact that the DNC allowed their vendor to remain after two separate breaches, speaks to their incompetency. They broke those rules, which is a violation of their policies, which by any standard should demand not only an internal investigation by a third party, but an investigation by the Department of Justice.
This shows the extent to which the DNC will go to favor their political sweetheart.
Though, Hillary doesn’t have the support base the media claims. For the polls to register her in the lead and having Bernie leading in every online poll by such a wide margin is what is known as a “statistical anomaly.” Basically what it means is that the DNC is cherry picking data and stocking the pot.
Citizens of USA prepare yourself. If Hillary does become president, the corporate media will glorify this as a democratic achievement, but it will be, in reality, just another spectacle to entertain masses of political zombies.
It’s time for people to avoid corporate media, also NPR and the like — all of them who twist the truth, spin the narrative and buddy up with their favorite candidate and manipulate the numbers to sway voters.
Corporate media will not go against their interest by reporting on, or validating Sanders’ historic presidential campaign. As the mainstream media implodes, more Americans are turning to alternative news sources. All the more reason why The People must continue to fearlessly engage social & other media and share Bernie Sanders message with the masses.
